The Mathematical Argument

One of the arguments for the existence of a Cosmic Designer that has emerged over the past few decades is what's called the mathematical argument.

That the universe should be at bottom describable in terms of mathematics and that human beings (some of them) should be able to understand the math involved is astonishing.

After all, what generates math if not a mind and why should our feeble minds be able to comprehend the math that underlies the universe and everything in it from the largest galaxy cluster to subatomic particles.

This short video gives a sense of how remarkable this is:
The naturalist skirts the conclusion by asserting that the applicability of mathematics to the universe is just a "happy coincidence." To be a naturalist one must, it seems, believe in an awful lot of happy coincidences.
