Well, another Democrat congressman has made it big on YouTube. Robert Ethridge from North Carolina's 2nd District is greeted on a Washington street by a student who asks him if he fully supports the President's agenda. The question certainly seems reasonable, the young man is dressed in coat and tie and hardly appears threatening, but the congressman reacts in a way that would get anyone else arrested:
Apparently, Democrats regard being asked if they support the President as though it were some sort of insult to their sanity or perhaps a threat to their safety. Come to think of it, I guess it is, at least if by safety one means political safety.
Hopefully, this guy will be gone in November. He's in a Republican district and his opponent, Renee Ellmers, sounds like the sort of candidate with which the state of North Carolina would feel comfortable. She's pro-life, fiscally conservative, supports border enforcement, and opposes Obamacare. And she promises if elected not to mug any young people on the streets of the nation's capital.
