From time to time I've done posts on hummingbirds which are surely one of the most fascinating creatures in the natural world. From their unique tongues to their amazing acrobatics and from their gorgeous coloration to the tiny size of some species they're just amazing birds.
This short but beautiful video, put out by the John 10:10 Project, explains how the hummingbird's anatomy allows them to fly both forward and backward as well as upside down.
