Here's the fifth and final installment in the series of videos titled Secrets of the Cell featuring Lehigh University biochemist Michael Behe. In this final episode, Behe argues that the design in nature points powerfully to a designer, an intelligent agent who had purposes in mind in engineering the cell.
The purposeful arrangement of parts is evidence, convincing evidence, that something is designed. We may not know who the designer was, when the designer worked or how the designer built what we see, but the fact that its parts are exceedingly complex and purposeful is an extremely reliable indicator of intentional design:
